Zakari Muntaka Alhaji

Dr. Zakari has over 12 years’ experience in professional accountancy industry providing technical expertise, conducting research, and teaching in the areas of financial reporting, management accounting, auditing, Islamic accounting and auditing, and IT Audit. He obtained his PhD in Accounting from the International Islamic University Malaysia. His academic research interests include corporate reporting, nonprofit management and governance, and accountancy professionalisation. Dr. Zakari is a Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Professional Shariah Auditor, Certified Islamic Banker, and a Certified Training Professional. He is a professional member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and an ordinary member of the International Council of Islamic Finance Educators (ICIFE).
