Dr Princess Bwanya

Assistant Professor

Dr Princess Bwanya is an Assistant Professor in Accounting and Finance at Northumbria University. She currently teaches on various accounting and finance modules including international finance, corporate finance, and corporate governance. She has extensive experience of programme leadership and currently leads the Accounting, Finance and Economics foundation year programme. She has published in areas of finance with a focus on investor sentiment and the impact on stock markets. Her research interests include financial markets, behavioural finance and various aspects of corporate governance including board structures, diversity, remuneration and shareholder activism.
