Viewers of Ellie Woollard’s collection will be transported
to a faraway rugged mountain terrain, with her clothing being inspired by
mountain climbing and the Scottish outdoors. Ellie, who is originally from
Leeds in West Yorkshire, has researched into the world of the high peaks and
women who wear skirts to climb, with her garments featuring striking oversized
silhouettes.
Her background is in womenswear pattern cutting and during her time at University, has completed two industry placements; Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, and Danielle Romeril. During her time interning at Preen, Ellie was invited to the brand’s Paris showrooms for nine days, to help their sales team.
Her first look final year garments were also pre-selected for a Graduate Fashion Week photo shoot.
