Womenswear designer Bethany Sutton, originally from Hull, has designed her final-year collection with emphasis on colour, detail and silhouette. Bethany likes to pay particular attention to detail, looking at how each part of a garment can be made to the best standard and how each piece can be designed with a subtle difference, to add further character to the finished look.
Bethany illustrates her personality and inspiration through her collection by choosing unique and colourful fabrics, using them to create pieces featuring classic silhouettes with a contrasting bold colour palette.
The fashion design student has carried out four placements during her time at University, including; Rebecca Bradley London (Furrier), Harris Tweed Hebrides, Hobbs London and Old Navy in San Francisco.
