Want to build skills that set you apart, test a business idea, or kickstart a freelancing career?

 

Running three times a year, Enterprise Edge is an interactive, one-day event at the London campus, designed to give you practical tools for your future, whether you want to launch your own business, work freelance or bring fresh, enterprising ideas to an employer.

 

Delivered by expert industry mentors alongside our Student and Graduate Enterprise team, you'll work in teams and explore:

 

  • marketing and branding
  • market research
  • networking and pitching

You don’t need a business idea to join - all you need is an open mind, a curious mindset, and a willingness to solve problems collaboratively.

Who is this event for?

This event is open to all Northumbria University students and recent graduates from the London campus, from all degree subjects and levels of study.

 

It’s ideal if you are:

 

  • curious about self-employment, side hustles, or freelancing
  • looking to develop the practical problem-solving skills employers look for
  • ready to collaborate, work in team challenges, and build your confidence

How to apply

Applications will open in late Autumn 2026. Make sure you apply early, as places are limited.
