Brief biography of your career so far.

I began by studying Business and Management BA from there I began to gain interest in project management specifically. I chose to study project management MSc at Northumbria since graduating I am now a practicing project manager in the IT sector.

What are you doing now?

I am currently working full time as a project manager practicing within an agile project central environment providing end-to-end IT services and solutions for public and private sector organisations.

What was it about Northumbria that made you decide to study here?

The course appealed to me and the flexibility and variation in teaching techniques.

What was it like studying at Northumbria?

I found the learning incredibly varied and stimulating. As a masters student I found that help and advice was readily available from lecturers and tutors.

How connected was your course with industry?

There was a few guest lectures from different industries, the university also worked closely with PMI and APM and invited students to attend events hosted by these organisations.

What was the best thing about your course?

The varied teaching and support from lecturers.

How did studying at Northumbria help you achieve your career goals/ give your career an edge?

From graduating I walked into a project management job, my up date knowledge of project management processes and theories helped give me a competitive edge against other applicants for roles.
