Where are you from?

Wakefield, West Yorkshire
 

Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

Because it is one of very few universities which offer the BSc (Hons) Web Design & Development course.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

Surprised about the amount of shops/bars/restaurants as there wasn't very many in my home town.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes, staff and students are easy to get along with.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

Taking a course which is very relevant to the career path I wish to take after university.

What is your favourite place on campus?

The Students' Union (Habita); cheap drinks and general fun atmosphere.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?

I have joined the Pool Society.

What is the best thing about your course?

It is relevant to the career path which I wish to take after university.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

In the future I wish to be a web developer/designer and possibly run my own company.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Research the course and attend Open Days to ask students/staff any questions you may have.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Fun, interesting, enjoyable!
