because the course was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to study a property related Masters course but didn’t have any background in the subject. I knew that the Northumbria University course was accredited by the RICS but didn’t require any previous experience because I did my Bachelor’s degree in business at Northumbria University as well.
because my classmates come from such a variety of backgrounds. We are all heading for the same goal and the course has really started to open doors for me with my understanding of property and real estate. It’s a really practical course, not just classroom learning. We have been to other cities in the UK as well as all over Newcastle as part of our learning.
it’s a really safe place. This is something that matters a lot to me but it also matters a lot to my parents, to know that their daughter is studying somewhere where they don’t need to worry all the time. It’s a big city and small city at the same time - it has all of the facilities that I need but they are all close enough to each other to reach by walking around the city centre.
because it is so close to the University it means that I do not have to think about extra transportation costs. They even have bicycles that I can use free of charge if I need to, so I sometimes use them to go for my grocery shopping if there is lots to carry!
especially the Sports Centre. There are so many sports that you can try. I want to try more and so far I have only managed swimming, climbing and yoga.
get here early. If you manage to arrive in time for the induction week you will be given so much useful information that is more difficult to go and find out for yourself afterwards.
