Gain the skills you need to start your own successful business

Apply NowStart-up and small business owners are consistently shown by research to be happier than those in full-time employment and with the UK cultivating a reputation as an enterprise hub there has never been a better time to start your own business venture.

UK start-ups are attracting more funding than ever before, but it can be difficult to turn an idea into a successful business and have the confidence to go it alone.

Northumbria University's Business with Entrepreneurship MSc gives students a broad business background with the opportunity to specialise in entrepreneurship.

The University has a strong reputation for encouraging enterprise, with the combined turnover of Northumbria graduate start-ups being higher than any other UK university.

Business with Entrepreneurship MSc student Adrian Stefan said: "The course gives you lots of theory, but also practice and the knowledge you need to feel equipped and confident enough to start your own business or go after your dream job.

"You get to develop your business plans, business canvases and network with lots of entrepreneurs. The course is very well structured and equips you with all of the skills to be successful in the real world."

Open to graduates from any academic discipline, studying the Business with Entrepreneurship MSc provides aspiring business owners with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

Research shows employers are keen to recruit people who can find new solutions and lead new initiatives so the programme is also beneficial for those looking for a role in an established business.

The course is run by Northumbria's Newcastle Business School, which holds double accreditation from AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), an international hallmark of excellence.

Offered on a full-time basis, the Business with Entrepreneurship MSc starts this month. For more information and to apply, visit www.northumbria.ac.uk/businesswithentrepreneurship.
