Where are you from?

Northern Ireland

Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

I chose Northumbria University because I wanted change. I seen it as a good way to become more independent by living away from home, a good way to meet new people and a good opportunity as the Law course offered is much more developed than that of many others in the country.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

I think Newcastle is a very welcoming city. The residents are very friendly and understanding of the fact I live away from home. I enjoy spending time with my friends, going to the Students' Union, going out in the town and doing other activities like seeing the sites such as parks etc.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

I am most surprised that Newcastle is not as cold as I have previously thought it would be. I have been most impressed by the number of things to do in newcastle, I am never bored.
