The university has a long history of accepting students from the Maldives on to a range of courses.

Although some courses have specific requirements for entry, Northumbria will consider any qualification for entry to its courses.

International Foundation Programme Foundation Studies Level I Good grades
1st Year Undergraduate UCLES Advanced Level Examination/Higher Secondary School Certificate/ Foundation Studies Level II As per course A Level Requirements
Advanced Diploma Applications will be considered on a case by case basis. Please contact international admissions  
Postgraduate Bachelors degree from Maldives National University Equivalent overall grades to a UK 2:2 or 2:1 honours degree as appropriate
Graduate Certificate Bachelors degree from Maldives National University Equivalent overall grades to a UK pass degree

Decisions for entry will also be based on personal statements, previous study information and not just your final course grading.
