The team covers all aspects of procurement for supplies,
works and services, management and financial accounting and credit control.
The University has a recurrent annual expenditure of £45.5m on supplies, works and services and a capital programme that includes building schemes and specialist equipment.
Procurement Services is responsible for driving value for money through efficient and effective procurement practices.
This team work closely with Faculty and Service Senior Management Teams to provide information, analysis, professional challenge and reporting which aids understanding, influences decisions and helps achieve short, medium and long-term business objectives.
Financial Accounts are responsible for preparing financial
information and the annual statutory accounts for the University and its
subsidiary companies. They provide the
Treasury function for the University and cover VAT and Corporation Tax. They oversee Capital Expenditure and are
responsible for the annual external audit of the University accounts.
This team are responsible for the collection of all student-related and commercial debt and work closely with Faculties and other University Services to provide a friendly informative service.
