Dr Ioannis Petrakis

Ioannis Petrakis is a Lecturer in Economics at the Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University.  Ioannis joined the Newcastle Business School in January 2024. He previously worked as a Research Fellow in Economics at University of Aberdeen in 2023 and as a Tutor in Economics at the University of Glasgow between 2020-2021. He has received his PhD from Glasgow Caledonian University on subjects related to inclusive growth and household finance and his research interests allign within the fields of applied economics, labour economics & finance and personal/household finance.
