Dr Gyuzel Gadelshina

Assistant Professor

School: Newcastle Business School

Gyuzel is a researcher, educator and visual artist. Her interdisciplinary work draws on visual research methods, discourse analysis, ethnomethodology and multimodal conversation analysis, with a current focus on exploring human–technology boundaries in virtual organisational environments and the specific challenges posed by various types of AI. Pedagogically, she integrates visual methods into her teaching of management and research practice, with a particular interest in visual literacy. Her artistic practice serves as a mode of inquiry that enriches her research and teaching, and she exhibits regionally, nationally and internationally, including the International Visual Literacy Association exhibitions.
