Department: Social Work, Education and Community Wellbeing

Hugo Fearnley

I am Research Fellow at Northumbria University, investigating perspectives on social welfare policy and how it relates to health outcomes. This involves engagement with policymakers to explore differences in approaches in different geographic and cultural contexts.

The project builds on my previous work in policy as Mayor's Political Adviser, North of Tyne Combined Authority.
