Carole Burrell

Associate Professor

School: Northumbria School of Law

Carole was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997 and worked in private practice specialising in mental health and mental capacity law. She has considerable experience of representing clients in proceedings before the First-Tier Tribunal (Mental Health) and in the Court of Protection.  Carole joined the Law School in 2014 and since then has taught and researched in the areas of mental health and mental capacity law and practice.
