Our Alumni - Work For Us
Facilities Services is a key operating function within Campus Services and is responsible for delivering a broad, diverse range of property and facilities service solutions across 2 campuses (one in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne and one a few miles away in Benton) and 6 University managed halls of residence.
The campus estate stretches across 259,083m2. All property and facilities services are managed and delivered by an internal professional FM team, supported by specialist partner solutions, to ensure an exceptional experience for all students, guests and visitors to Northumbria.
Facilities Services are responsible for all aspects of property facilities management including the following:
- Reactive and planned engineering and maintenance
- Statutory compliance
- Helpdesk
- Switchboard and reception services
- Security
- Cleaning and Waste
- Grounds Maintenance
- Mail and Transport
- Minor capital works
