PhD in Mathematics and Information Sciences

My research aims to investigate the practice of information literacy (IL) teaching and learning in Vietnamese upper secondary schools. The study employs a mixed-method approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The research will make a contribution to both theory and practice. This study will contribute to the literature of IL by providing a detailed understanding of IL in upper secondary schools in Vietnam – a context which has not, as yet, been explored comprehensively. Furthermore, this study will also contribute to the literature of IL by providing a thorough understanding of the relationship between IL and student age. In addition, findings will contribute to the design of an IL programme in upper secondary schools for the Vietnamese context.
