Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

It is because of the recommendation I received from my lecturers and friends.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

I think Newcastle is an awesome place. Northumbria University is a great University with great facilities. My favourite thing I like to do is working on my own studies and assignment at Northumbria Business School.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

I am surprised that Newcastle is a such beautiful place. It is also easy for me to go get to the City Centre as it is very near to Northumbria University. I am impressed that Newcastle people are very friendly.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes! It is easy to fit in as everyone, such as lecturers and staff, are very friendly.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

The lecturers and tutors, they are kind and helpful.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

Every lecturer and tutor helped me considerably, but I want to thank my programme leader, Mr Martin Foo and my professional project tutor, Mr Jamie Weatherston for his assistance.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?

I was invited by the badminton coach to join Northumbria badminton team.

What is the best thing about your course?

The time schedule is flexible.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Don't try to drag all the coursework until the due date as you will suffer when you have insufficient time to complete your work.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I would like do business with my friends. I have learnt a lot of interacting skills, whilst also improving my English speaking skills, which will be very useful for my future career.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Work hard, Play hard! Enjoy the days in Newcastle with your friends.

More confidence when interacting with others, especially speaking English.
