Why did you choose the course?

When I did my research on all the courses that were around, I found that Northumbria offered a part-time course where you could attend classes and get hands-on experience. This is invaluable in the industry at the moment. Other courses on offer were based on distance learning and I felt this would not add value to my knowledge.

What appealed to you about Northumbria and studying in Newcastle?

The best part of the course is the practicals! I have really enjoyed the fact that you get different assignments that the entire course is based on. Some are research-based and others are practical. Some are team-based and others are individual assignments. The tutors are always there to help and discuss problems that you might have.


Favourite thing about University?


There is a lot of support for students, from financial advice to help with writing assignments, which is really useful.

What did you like most about the course?


The practicals and also the lecturers that are very knowledgeable about the industry.


Do you have any advice for anyone applying for the course?

It is worth it! The work you do in your programme will help you to succeed at work. What you learn even in the first semester is transferable to your job. If you have the support of everyone around you, you can succeed.
