Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

I have chosen Northumbria for many reasons: first of all for its rank, which is accepted at our embassy according to RAE 2008 Rankings for UK Universities in the Research Assessment Exercise 2008,  and then its location which is located in the heart center of  Newcastle city, the city which one of the best UK cities, last but not least what made me interested in Northumbria university is the quick  response of the University to my application the procedures are very clear and the staff are very dedicated.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Newcastle is a very vital and lively city, the living expenses are reasonable , variety of shops and food, the location of Newcastle FC stadium St. James' Park is located in the city center where you can easily go and watch Newcastle FC matches, furthermore you can spend a whole day at the Metro Centre,which is considered one of the biggest malls in Europe.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

Active city, most shops stay open till about 8 pm and some stay later. friendly people there are lots of places to go on your leisure.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes I find a warm welcome, friendly staff, easily to get on and acclimate to all students.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

Facilities, skills programs, 24/7 access to University Library, and, the gym.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

My supervisor Dr Martin Birkett

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

Location, facilities and modern buildings as well as the net access WiFi on campus.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Wynne Jones building, the library and the gym.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?

We do play football games weekly at the gym with our department students.

What is the best thing about your course?

My course is a very needed course in our every day life, interesting, applicable and enjoyable.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

All the lessons I attended so far are valuable and important to develop my research.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

In the future, I'll be back to my previous work as a lecturer to deliver and teach what I have learnt for my PhD. The university provide students with different  development skills which are important for our studies and future work.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Do not  hesitate and apply as soon as possible, you'll never regret it! 

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

At the beginning I was a bit frightened but in time, I become so confident.

Would you recommend Northumbria University to a friend?

Yes and I have already recommended it, some got offers!
