Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

My previous university (TCM) have cooperative relationship with Northumbria University.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Newcastle is a lovely place. I'd like to do a little travel in the North East.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

Newcastle is a small city, but it has everything that I expects to find; such like shopping, transportation, entertainment.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes, it is a welcoming university and easy to fit in.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

My course has been well planned. I enjoy my study very much.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

I have to say all tutors in my course they helped me a lot.

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

Some tutors in my course they can inspire and motivate me.

What is your favourite place on campus?

I like the virescence in Coach Lane campus.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?

I did face painting to raise money for the charity in Coach Lane campus.

What is the best thing about your course?

I think all my tutors are very professional and strong.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Research Skills: Approaches, Designs and Methods and Leadership and Management for Health Care.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I think I will continue to do my PhD in the future. I have learned the research skills and transformational leadership skill. These skills are very important for me.

Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?

No, I haven't yet.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Maybe it will be better to develop a skill of critical thinking as early as possible. Students could be much more confident about their capacities; they could dare to challenge themselves.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I think I'd like to share my knowledge what I have learnt at Northumbria with my friends, teachers. Then, I could apply some of the knowledge into practice. Confidence is one point, but the knowledge level has been improved.

Short, learning, enjoy.
