Y12 History Taster Day

 We are excited to announce an upcoming Y12 History Taster Day, which will take place at our City Campus, in June.The event is free and has limited spaces and therefore is first come first served. Please use the form at the bottom of this page to sign up to the event. (Please note that schedules and timings may be subject to change)

 Please find the schedules for the events below:

 New Perspectives on the Tudor Period (Thursday 4th June)

  Focusing on the reign of Henry VIII, this workshop will provides students with fresh insights into the history of Tudor England. The event is led by colleagues who cover a variety of approaches to the early modern period – Dr Katherine Butler, Dr Katarzyna Kosior and Dr Neil Murphy. In interactive sessions, students will explore different aspects of Tudor court culture, from women to the role of music, and they will also learn about war and violence under Henry VIII.

 10:30  Welcome and Orientation
 11:00  Lecture
 12:00  Lunch Break and Optional Campus / Library Tours
 13:00  Seminars and Review
 15:00  Finish

 Lunch is not included in the day however, there are facilities for students to purchase food on campus, alternatively you may bring your own with you.
