Portfolios allow you to express your personality, demonstrate your creativity and share your interests and inspirations. Find out more about the application process for some of our courses below.

Northumbria University seeks students who demonstrate talent and potential in their chosen creative discipline. Therefore, some of our courses require a portfolio as part of the application process.

This allows you to express your personality, demonstrate your creativity, share your interests and inspirations, and provide evidence of your commitment to the subject that you have applied for.  

You should submit your portfolio via the applicant portal. You will receive an email explaining when to submit, how to do this and what your portfolio should contain.
