BACK TO UoA

Our Design researchers engage in developing new and innovative practices within Design, and in innovation and research through Design. They are located across specialist areas which include Craft Futures, Design Fiction, Fashion Cultures, Human-Computer Interaction, Participatory Design, Responsible Innovation, Service Design and Social Design.

Interactions within the University are facilitated through the research group CoCreate and three research themes: Design + WellbeingDesign + Business and Publics, and Design + Making and Materials. These themes cut across specific design subjects and expertise to support collaborations and align research strengths across multiple domains and problem spaces.
