We are looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our Infrastructure Services business, who deliver critical resilient infrastructure that improves daily life by partnering with our clients to achieve sustainable outcomes for their customers and communities. You will join our Water division who are a national provider of infrastructure and non-infrastructure water and wastewater services to UK water utility companies.
You will assist the Quantity Surveyors with the fiscal and contractual administration of projects being carried out and will be responsible for assisting your team with:
- Preparing and issuing subcontract enquiries and trade packages.
- Assessing and comparing subcontractors quotes and drafting orders.
- Preparing monthly reports.
- Evaluating materials on site and labour time records.
- Paying invoices through the finance system and preparing subcontractor final accounts.

Who is an ideal candidate?
We are looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor.
In order to be successful in this role, we would like you to have:
- 5 GCSEs at grade 9-4/A*-C including English and Maths.
- Level 3 Quantity Surveying qualification such as a HNC or apprenticeship.
- Available to start in February 2025
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- The motivation and dedication to successfully complete your apprenticeship programme.
