Dr Dawn Whitton

Assistant Professor

Department: Newcastle Business School

Dawn’s professional practice was primarily in the Built Environment and she worked as a Chartered Surveyor for 10 years before joining the University in 2006 as a Senior Lecturer.

She has been programme leader for a number of programmes since joining the University.  More recently, Dawn has lead the BA Business Leadership and Corporate Management Programme.

During her time in the Business School, Dawn has specialised in the development of student’s academic and employability skills and has a particular interest in graduate identity. She is currently completing a doctorate in business administration, researching the experience of part-time working students.
