Dr Zaryab Sheikh

Dr. Zaryab Sheikh has 18 years of diversified work experience both in academics and corporate. He is a Ph.D.in Business Administration (Majors: Digital Marketing). Presently, Dr. Sheikh is working as Assistant Professor marketing with Newcastle Business School, University of Northumbria, Newcastle Upon Tyne. He has also worked as Senior Lecturer with Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, UK. He has also worked with top universities in Pakistan such as NUST Business School, as Associate Professor and with Beaconhouse National University as Assistant Professor, and COMSATS University, as Lecturer. He has also worked with PEPSI COLA. He has a keen interest in research. His areas of interest include social media, social networking sites role in business, digital marketing, online consumer behavior/internet-commerce, social commerce, consumer socialization, supply chain management, outsourcing, knowledge sharing behavior and materialism. He has also presented his research work at different international conferences in UK, USA, UAE, and Thailand. Dr. Sheikh has also published his research work in ABS listed research journals such as Information Technology & People, Young Consumers, Personnel Review, British Food Journal, Telematics and Informatics and others. His teaching interests include digital marketing, digital marketing analytics, research for marketing, consumer behavior, marketing management, marketing fundamentals, and social media marketing. He has also successfully supervised Undergraduate and Post Graduate final year research projects/theses.  He has also served as an external examiner for MS thesis final defense in different universities and PhD thesis external examiner for University Technology Sydney, Australia. He has successfully led the team who developed of the new Master program in Marketing and an MBA and got it validated from relevant authorities and external reviewers. Open to accept new PhD students.
