Edmond Sanganyado's primary research interest lies in understanding the impact of human activities on aquatic environments, with a focus on assessing the environmental chemodynamics and ecotoxicological mechanisms and pathways of synthetic chemicals. Through his research, Dr. Sanganyado aims to develop tools and techniques that can effectively predict, monitor, and manage the presence and impact of these contaminants in aquatic ecosystems.

Dr. Sanganyado has published more than 60 research articles in high-impact journals, including Water Research, Journal of Hazardous Materials, and Environmental Pollution. His research findings have provided valuable insights into the behavior, distribution, and effects of synthetic chemicals in aquatic environments, contributing to a better understanding of their ecological implications.

Dr. Sanganyado is actively involved in the scientific community as an editor and reviewer. He has previously served as an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Water and Academic Editor for PeerJ - Life & Environment and PLoS ONE. He has also been an Editorial Board Member for Communications Earth & Environment, BMC Chemistry, and Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management, playing a key role in the dissemination and evaluation of scientific research in his field.
