Michelle Robson

Assistant Professor

Department: Northumbria Law School

Michelle Robson is a Senior Lecturer at Northumbria University.  She graduated from Lancaster University with an LLB (Hons) degree in law and worked in a leading law firm prior to joining Northumbria Law School in 1992. She teaches a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules, focusing on her specialist subject of medical law and clinical negligence. Michelle has been responsible for the design, development, enhancement and delivery of several modules in this area. Since 2000 she has been the Programme Leader for the PG Cert/ PGDip/LLM Medical Law Programme and she is also the Module Tutor for Medical Law on the M Law/LLB (Hons) and LLB (OL) programmes.

Michelle is a Council Member of the North of England Medico-Legal Society and a founding member of the University of Northumbria Medical and Mental Health Law Research Interest Group (MELRIG).
