Sarah Morse

Assistant Professor

Department: Northumbria Law School

I am a Solicitor Tutor in the Law School’s award winning Student Law Office. This is a clinic offering free legal advice and assistance to members of the public and I supervise final year students working in the office conducting employment and general civil litigation cases. I also designed and now teach on our Street Law module, which is a community legal education programme.  I am the Managing Editor of the International Journal of Public Legal Education.

Prior to joining the University, I was employed as a legal editor for Sweet and Maxwell before training as a Solicitor at Stone King LLP in Bath. Upon returning to Newcastle, I worked as a Solicitor for Beecham Peacock LLP specialising in employment law and personal injury (in particular industrial disease claims).
