Dr Jamie Carrahar

Assistant Professor

Having qualified as a Chartered Manager and Chartered Management Accountant during a decade-long career in industry including roles in finance, corporate tax, and operations management, Jamie followed his passion for teaching and entered the professional education sector.

Jamie lectured in Business Strategy, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Management Accounting and Taxation across a range of professional qualifications with BPP University prior to joining Northumbria University as a Senior Lecturer in Leadership and Management.

He is currently undertaking research for a Doctorate of Business Administration, a professional doctorate with Newcastle Business School.
