Research Theme: Design Value Innovation

Supervisor: Professor Robert YoungElizabeth MacLarty

Coming from an Undergraduate background in Fashion and Information Technology from National Institute of Fashion Technology in India, I worked as a Visual Merchandiser in one of the leading Retail chain outlets in India called Shopper’s Stop. After 2 years of work experience I moved to Newcastle to pursue Masters in Design Management from School of Design, Northumbria University. During this MA, my research interests spanned Designs Role in Strategic Innovation process in multinational industries, which continued into my current PhD study. My current work looks at Role of Design at strategic level in multinational industries. My interest in academia and passion for teaching had led to a full time lectureship at the School of Design, Northumbria University teaching Innovation.
