In this research seminar, the participants will learn from academics and practitioners on how professionals in the public and private sectors cooperate and manage teams in the digital era.

The seminar will include a presentation of the results of a research conducted by Professor Monika Foster, Head of MOS Department and Professor Daniel van Middelkoop Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences AUAS, from an internally funded collaborative study on professional cooperation in the digital era.

The seminar will also include a presentation from Mark Philpot, CEO of NPH Group, a leading health care business based in Newcastle upon-Tyne. Mark has a strong relationship with the Business School and has a prominent role in the North East ecosystem. Here, Mark will talk about how he dealt with COVID-19 in his business, hybrid working and significant pivoting his business to create a partnership (created remotely) to significantly expand his business.

The event will conclude with colleagues having the chance to speak to Monika and Mark about their research and business expertise. This event strengthens the relationship between the Faculty and the regional business community.
