RegisterIC3 Innovation Workshop - Digital Transformation for SMEs

Wednesday 19 October 2022, 9am – 12.30pm.

The International Centre for Connected Construction (IC3) is a centre of excellence for digital construction fostering world-leading research and innovation in collaboration with industry and the public sector, championing the use of digital technologies and connected construction to drive productivity, improve safety and promoting procurement for value across the entire building and infrastructure life cycle.

The North East has a vibrant digital construction sector, globally renowned for its expertise; IC3 is accelerating this regional capability by creating a flagship that assembles over 40 partners from across the construction industry, digital sector, academia, and regional government.

Digital Transformation for SMEs Workshop

IC3 recently secured investment through the UK Community Renewal Fund, to provide a fully funded workshop on the morning of the 19th of October for Gateshead and Sunderland based companies across the construction supply chain who are interested in how digital transformation and innovation could benefit their business.

Our workshop includes:

  • Industry case studies: demonstrating how regional contractors are adopting digital technology, and how this is driven down the supply chain
  • Knowledge exchange discussion: showcasing the value businesses can gain from collaboration.
  • Innovation workshop activity to map your companies journey through digital transformation and innovation.
  • Q&A session, alongside the opportunity for further collaboration with the IC3 network.
