Newcastle is a vibrant city and was awarded “Best City in Britain” by The Guardian Travel Awards in 2014. The city boasts world-class culture, vibrant nightlife, award-winning dining, inspiring heritage, fantastic shopping and acclaimed architecture. These are linked, as nowhere else, by the famous Geordie spirit. The city of Newcastle is united with its neighbour Gateshead (on the south bank) by seven bridges across a spectacular riverscape of the River Tyne.

The cost of accommodation is not included in the delegate fee and delegates would be required to book their own accommodation. This allows delegates to choose from a range of city-centre hotels, to meet their own needs, preferences and budget. There is also a limited number of budget student accommodation available.
