Fire Policy and Evacuation Procedures 

Provides information on the University Fire Policy, actions staff are to follow in the event of fire and duties of Evacuation Coordinators and Fire Marshals.

 

Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans

Guidance necessary to develop a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) for people who require assistance with evacuation during an emergency situation.

 

It is in your own interests of health and safety to familiarise yourself with emergency procedures and fire arrangements for all University buildings. Make yourself familiar with all alternative exit routes, where the call points are and where to assemble in the event of an evacuation.

Should you require any specific fire safety documents/publications/information please contact the health and safety team.

Please report any missing, damaged fire safety action notices and plans to Campus Services Help Desk crhelpdesk@northumbria.ac.uk
