Uni FoodSaver offers credit to spend at Northumbria University catering outlets across campus, when ordering via our Uni Food Hub app. A discount of up to 20% will be applied to the value of the package, which can equate to savings of up to £210.00 per year. It's the most affordable way to eat on campus, for students who want peace of mind that they'll always have the means to enjoy a hot meal a day. For parents, you can be sure that your child has access to nutritious and tasty food throughout their time at university.
The Uni Food Saver package is available to purchase at any time and you can choose the duration and value of your package that aligns with your budget and needs.

Your Uni Food Saver credit will accumulate over the course of the academic year and will be accessible during term time. Meaning your credit does not disappear at the end date of your selected package. However, the scheme runs to 31st July 2025 and any remaining credit on your app will disappear after that date, you will receive a reminder if you do have credit leading up to that date.

You can spend your allowance at selected Northumbria Uni Food outlets, as well as the added convenience of being able to order your food for Click & Collect and Delivery at one of our many pick-up points across campus and selected accommodation blocks.
Purchasing a Uni Food Saver catering package is quick and easy via this online payment site: The purchase can be made by the student themselves or by anyone on their behalf. Credit purchased by 1pm Friday will then be uploaded to their Uni Food Hub account the following Monday. Please ensure you have downloaded the App before purchasing credit.
When you arrive on campus, all you need to do is download and register your university email on the Uni Food Hub app and your credit will be visible in your e-wallet to spend as you see fit.
The Uni Food Saver catering package provides you with £7.00 credit per day from Monday-Friday, during term-time. £7.00 a day gives you the freedom to treat yourself to a wide range of hot meals, snacks and drinks through the Uni Food Hub app.
The Uni Food Hub app is our convenient way to order food across campus, and in some of our University-managed residences. You can choose to eat in one of our many catering outlets on campus, have food delivered to you at one of our collection points across campus and in our residences. Anyone can purchase a Uni Food Saver catering package on your behalf, by entering relevant information (your name & email address) when booking.
You (or your parent/guardian) can upload credit directly to the Uni Food Hub app at any time and it will appear instantly. However, If you wish to access the savings of our Uni Food Saver scheme, purchases should be made via this link and all credit purchased by 1pm Friday will be uploaded and available for the following Monday.
All credit purchased by 1pm on a Friday will be uploaded and accessible the Monday after the day of purchase.
