Mohamed Abdel Raheem Ahmed Mohamed

Career Path: Director - Project Management Office, Imam Abdelrahman Bin Faisal University
Location: Saudi Arabia

I have worked as an Architect for over 14 years in both Egypt and UK. My experience in a reputable contractor firm in Egypt gave me good experience in management and technical tasks, construction process and project plan and control. I then enhanced my experience with six years of my career spent working in the UK for Northern Firm, Tench Maddison Ash Architects LLP. Both experiences have allowed me to develop a special perceptive regarding the design practices and construction market in the two countries.

In 2008 the financial crisis hit the market, then the business I was working with closed down. At this moment I thought to enhance my experience in construction market with a professional course and academic learning. I preferred to learn more about Management Science as it sounded an important practice for a professional such as myself and, as I was working in Newcastle at the time, I searched for the nearest reputable institution that fulfilled my requirements. I came to Northumbria University as it was the only educational organisation to offer this type of credited Masters course in the region.
