Working in the field of RPA at QNB Group has provided me with invaluable opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation journey of organizations across various industries. By harnessing the power of automation and technology, I assist clients in streamlining their operations, reducing manual errors, and freeing up valuable resources to focus on more strategic initiatives. The dynamic nature of the role, the constant advancements in RPA technologies, and the satisfaction of witnessing tangible improvements in client operations make my current position as a business consultant in the field of RPA both fulfilling and intellectually stimulating.

In my current role as a Business Consultant at QNB Group (Qatar National Bank), I am actively involved in leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to drive operational efficiency and enhance business processes. As part of my responsibilities, I collaborate with clients from various industries to analyse their existing workflows, identify areas of improvement, and develop tailored RPA solutions to automate manual and repetitive tasks.

What was it about Northumbria that made you decide to study here?

Northumbria's strong linkage of programs to business transformation and analytics streams was a significant factor that influenced my decision to study here. The University's recognition of the evolving business landscape and the integration of these specialised areas into its curriculum attracted me. It offered a comprehensive education that aligned with my career aspirations and provided the necessary skills to excel in the fields of business transformation and analytics.

Studying at Northumbria University was a rewarding experience, especially with the opportunity to pursue distance learning. The University's distance learning program provided me with a flexible and accessible education that accommodated my personal and professional commitments. Despite not physically attending classes, I felt fully engaged and connected through the well-designed online platforms and virtual classrooms. The support from the faculty and the availability of extensive online resources ensure a seamless learning experience. Overall, studying at Northumbria through distance learning was a convenient and enriching journey that allowed me to achieve my educational goals while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

My course at Northumbria University was exceptionally connected with the industry, specifically in the fields of business transformation, analytics, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The University's emphasis on industry collaboration, guest lectures, and real-world case studies ensured that we were constantly exposed to the latest industry trends and practices. The curriculum was designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, equipping us with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the dynamic and evolving business transformation, analytics, and RPA sectors. The skills and knowledge I learned on my course at Northumbria University that I use most now in my career as a business transformation specialist are strategic planning, change management, process improvement and data analysis.

What I enjoyed most about my time at Northumbria was the vibrant and inclusive learning community, where I could engage with passionate faculty and fellow students who shared my enthusiasm for business transformation.

What advice would you give somebody who is thinking of studying at Northumbria?

My advice would be 'go for it'! Northumbria offers a vibrant learning environment and industry-relevant programs.
