International Links

Geography and Environmental Sciences have a number of successful partnerships, bringing our courses to an international audience and enabling our students to experience different cultures with our study abroad programme.

Collaborative Working

We are an international university and we have a number of partnerships with universities and other educational establishments around the world.
The department currently delivers our Environmental Management programme in HKIVE, Hong Kong.

Study Abroad

Many students are keen to take advantage of the option of studying abroad for a year, while reading for their undergraduate degree. This is a fantastic opportunity to enable students to experience living in a different country, improve communication skills, and make new contacts. The workplace is invariably a global market now; so to have the experience of studying in a different country is an excellent way of demonstrating working internationally on your CV.

The department has partnerships with the following universities to enable students to study abroad for a year:

  • Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia
  • Konkuk University, Seoul, South Korea (The top 100 Asia Universities), South Korea
  • Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea
  • Frostburg State University, USA
