Placement Information (2022/23)

Below you will find links to the placements our PGCE, PGCE Early Primary and BA Primary Education students will undertake during the 2022/23 academic year. This section of the website has been organised by term to make it easier to navigate. In addition to the three standard terms, you will also see a ‘non-assessed placements’ section – this has been kept separate as, unlike the other placements completed by our students, these placements are non-assessed.

Each section has a breakdown of each placement, including confirmation of the fee** due to schools hosting our students.  Fees that we pay to schools for 2022/23 placements have recently increased and our placement webpages below now reflect these increases.

You can view/download an overview of the placement schedule in PDF format by clicking HERE (please note that you will have to zoom into the document to be able to see it in full detail).

If you would like to offer to host one or more of our students and have not already completed our online form, you can do so now by clicking HERE or by getting in contact with Kevin Sugden or Jonathan Smith in the Placements Team by e-mail (hl.placements.education@northumbria.ac.uk) or phone (0191 215 6474).
