I am a graduate with a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and am currently a Rutherford Fellow in The Centre for International Development at Northumbria University,  In addition I continue to  lecture in the Department of Psychology and Counselling at An- Najah National University, I conducted and supervised many projects in the fields of mental health, group therapy, trauma intervention and psycho-social rehabilitation in Palestine, I am also a member of Jordan Psychological Association (J.P.A), American Psychological Association (APA) and the Palestinian Syndicate of Psychologists and social workers, during my work at An-Najah National University, I used to be the head of Psychology and Counseling department from 2013- 2016 and the head of graduate department for human sciences from 2016- 2018, and I also taught many courses for graduate and undergraduate students such as: Group therapy , family therapy, statistical analysis via computer, experimental psychology, measurement and evaluation, mental health, counselling for special populations, diagnosis in counselling, counselling and psychotherapy theories, behavioural modification, clinical supervision, expressive therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy. I also published around fourteen research papers in fields of therapeutic intervention, trauma intervention, clinical supervisor and school counselling.
