Dr Linzi Dodd

Dr Linzi E. Dodd is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Electrical Engineering (MPEE) at Northumbria University, where she has been a member of staff since October 2017. She holds a Master’s degree in General Engineering, specialising in Electronics, from Durham University (2009), and completed her PhD in Microsystems Technology at Durham in 2014.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of microsystems engineering, wearable technology, and smart textiles, with a focus on developing innovative sensors and systems for applications in healthcare, sports, and emerging technologies.
