Sadrul Alam Talukder

Career Path: Chief Assistant Director, Ship International Hospital.
Location: Bangladesh

During my university years, I understood that a new track has already been established in legal profession, that is the In-House Counsel. Bangladesh, as a developing country, will attract many local and foreign investors; and the corporate sector will need In-house Counsels. Therefore, I started working as an in-house lawyer within the corporate sector in Bangladesh. I have rose up to the corporate ladder starting from an Executive in the Legal Department to Legal Advisor in the grade of Chief Assistant Director (third highest position in the organisation). The journey from an Executive to the grade of Chief Assistant Director was of course not an easy one. Within the legal departments of several companies, I had to pass through the ranks of Senior Executive, Assistant Manager, Manager, Senior Manager, General Manager and Assistant Director and eventually to Chief Assistant Director to date.
