Northumbria University provides expert support and essential tools to help employers manage apprenticeship funding effectively. Whether you're contributing via the Apprenticeship Levy or accessing government co-investment, we offer clear guidance to support your organisation every step of the way.

Apprenticeship Service Account – Employers must register for this online service to access and manage apprenticeship funding, recruit apprentices, and formalise training agreements.

Financial Advice and Levy Guidance – From utilising levy contributions to accessing up to 95% government co-funding for non-levy payers, our guidance helps employers make informed, cost-effective decisions. Additional incentives for hiring apprentices who meet specific criteria are also available.
