AccessAble, formerly known as DisabledGo, is a leading provider of accessibility information for disabled people in the UK. It was set up in 2000 by Dr. Gregory Burke, as a result of his own experiences as a wheelchair user and disabled walker.

The guides provide an online description of the physical access features of all our buildings and services. They include information on colour contrast and lighting, signage, background noise, and much more. They are reviewed on an annual basis and users can also provide direct feedback on any information that needs updating.

You can access maps for Northumbria University.

You can also download the Access Able app.
