Career Path: Academic, Legal Associate, Researcher
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

I chose the legal profession because I wanted to speak up for justice. To achieve my dream I have completed LLB, BPTC, and LLM. These educational qualifications have enabled me to get various job experiences. I have worked at two reputed law chambers. I have worked as a legal faculty. I have also worked as a legal consultant at an international telecom company. I have also been associated with politics. The diverse experience has given me a broad perspective and better understanding - it has helped me find my purpose. Currently I am an activist, I write and advocate for the welfare of nature and people.

Currently I am working in a law institute and a law chamber. I am also continuing my research.

What was it about Northumbria that made you decide to study here?

The beautiful campus was a highlight and a real factor for me.

What was it like studying at Northumbria?

Studying at Northumbria was a life-changing experience for me. The course, the wonderful people, the beautiful culture, the kindness, love and support, everything has helped me evolve into the best version of myself. Thank you Northumbria for this opportunity!

How connected was your course with industry?

The BPTC course is very practical. It has enabled me to work proficiently.

What was the best thing about your course?

The practical aspect of the course, the amazing faculty, the beautiful campus, the wonderful classmates, and dinners at the Inn were the best things about BPTC.

How did studying at Northumbria help you achieve your career goals/ give your career an edge?

The BPTC course at Northumbria has introduced me to professional skills, and helped me form strong basics necessary to excel at the legal profession.

Which skills/knowledge did you learn on your course that you use most now throughout your career?

Conferencing, advocacy, drafting, opinion writing and research.

What did you enjoy most about your time at Northumbria University?

I have enjoyed everything at Northumbria University.

What advice would you give somebody who is considering studying at Northumbria?

Northumbria is the best!

How would you describe your time at Northumbria in three words?

I love Northumbria
