Clinical Legal Education

Clinical Legal Education in the UK is a small but growing field, however in other countries it has been well established for many years.

In the United States, for example, every Law School has a clinical programme. Likewise in Canada and Australia Clinical Legal Education is seen as a major, integral part of legal education.

Northumbria Law School is a leader in the field of clinical legal education and is committed to sharing experience and building links both in the UK and elsewhere. The Law School publishes the International Journal of Clinical Legal Education and organises the International Journal of Clinical Legal Education Conference.
