Although some courses have specific requirements for entry, Northumbria will consider any qualification for entry to its courses.

For entry to: You will need: Grade Required:
International Foundation Programme  Tawjahiya/High School Diploma  60% or above
1st Year Undergraduate  Associate Degree  GPA 2.75 
Entry after year 1 of Bahraini degree  GPA 2.75 and having completed around 30 credit hours 
Bahrain Diploma -  when studied for 2-3 years GPA 2.75 
Advanced Entry Advanced entry to year 2 from Bachelors degree – entry after year 2 of Bahraini degree  GPA 2.75 and having completed around 60 credit hours 
Advanced entry to year 3 from Bachelors degree – entry after year 3 of Bahraini degree  GPA 2.75 and having completed around 90 credit hours 
Postgraduate Programmes Bachelor Degree (4 Years) GPA of around 2.75/4.0  for courses requiring a UK 2:2 equivalent

CGPA 3.2/4 or 4.0/5 for courses requiring a 2:1 equivalent
Graduate Certificate Bachelor Degree (4 Years) GPA of  2.0/4.0

Actual requirements may vary depending on your chosen course of study and certain courses may have specific or additional entry requirements, full details can be found on our course directory. Decisions for entry will also be based on personal statements, previous study information and not just your final course grading.
